• Select your travel arrival date when making your booking.
• We recommend installing your eSIM before travelling while connected to stable Wi-Fi.
• Installing your eSIM does not start your plan validity. Your data plan starts automatically when your eSIM first connects to a supported network in a covered country.
• Once at your destination, turn on your Pelago eSIM, select it for mobile data, and turn on Data Roaming for the Pelago eSIM.
• The eSIM QR code can only be installed once. Do not delete or remove the eSIM after successful installation.
• To avoid potential roaming charges, disable Data Roaming for your primary SIM.
• Your data allowance depends on the plan selected at purchase, and usage is deducted from your purchased data entitlement.
• Unlimited plans are subject to a Fair Usage Policy. Once the high-speed data allowance is used, speeds may be reduced to at least 128 kbps.
• Start using your eSIM within one month of purchase.
• eKYC verification is not required.

Please make sure:

• Your device supports eSIM. Refer to device list here.
• Your device is not carrier locked.
• You are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
• You have the Pelago app installed and are signed in to the account used for your booking.
• You have sufficient battery on your device.
• You do not already have a different installation in progress.

• If it’s your first time using a Pelago eSIM, follow the installation instructions in the Pelago app.
• If you already have a Pelago eSIM, you do not need to install another eSIM. Your new eligible data plan will be added to your existing eSIM.
• Install your Pelago eSIM through the Pelago app before you travel or at your destination.
• Installing your eSIM does not start your plan validity. Your selected data plan starts when your eSIM successfully connects to a supported local network at your destination.
• We recommend installing it before your trip while connected to a stable Wi-Fi network so that your eSIM is ready to use when you arrive.
• Do not delete or remove your eSIM after it has been successfully installed.
• Your Pelago eSIM can be reused for future trips, so you only need to install it once.

• Go to your phone settings and turn on your Pelago eSIM.
• Select your Pelago eSIM as your mobile data line.
• Turn on Data Roaming for your Pelago eSIM.
• Turn off mobile data on your primary SIM if needed to avoid using your primary line for mobile data.
• Your eSIM will connect to a supported local network, and your data plan validity starts when the connection is successful.

• Your eSIM provides mobile data over available 4G, LTE or 5G networks, depending on your destination and network availability.
• Mobile hotspot is supported.
• Voice calls and SMS are not supported.
• Check your remaining data and plan validity through the Pelago app.
• If you need more data, purchase a new data plan through the Pelago app. The new plan will be added to your existing Pelago eSIM.

• You can check your eSIM data balance and plan details directly in the Pelago app.
• Your eSIM will appear on the app home page after installation.
• View your remaining data balance, plan validity and usage directly in the app.

• You can purchase additional data for your existing Pelago eSIM at any time.
• You do not need to install a new eSIM.
• Your new data plan will be added to the same Pelago eSIM.
