How to apply a promo code?

  1. At checkout, you’ll be directed to the Booking Details page, where you’ll find the 'Promo Code' section at the bottom of the page

    1. If you do not see the 'Promo Code' section at checkout, refer to 'Why can't I see the 'Promo Code' section during checkout?'

  2. In this section, you’ll see the promotions that are eligible for your booking

  3. Click Claim or Apply on the promo code you'd like to apply to your booking

  4. Once applied, you will be able to see the discount deducted from your total booking amount, and a banner will appear showing how much you’ve saved


Verification Before Promo Code Use

A verified phone number and/or email address is required before a promo code can be applied. Security verification is needed if:

  • You are using a promo code for the first time,

  • You have not previously verified your phone number,

  • Or not verified your email address upon sign-up

Verifying Contact Number

When the contact number entered in the booking has not yet been verified with Pelago, a One-Time Password (OTP) will be automatically sent to that contact number through WhatsApp.

  1. Enter the OTP

  2. Click on "Verify phone number"

  • If the contact number entered does not exist on WhatsApp, the OTP will be sent via SMS instead.

  • Keep a lookout! Allow up to 15 minutes to receive the OTP, depending on your internet connection or network carrier.


Verifying Email Address

If the email address entered in the booking has not yet been verified with Pelago, an OTP will be sent to the email address.

  1. Enter the OTP

  2. Click on "Verify email address"

Successful verification!

Upon successful verification, there will be a clear indication in both the booking details and the "Order Summary" that the discount has been applied and the discounted amount will be reflected.


How to Confirm That a Promo Code Has Been Applied to Your Booking

You will be able to verify that your promo code has been applied by checking these areas:

  • Booking information in your Pelago Account

    • Under your Account, click on 'Bookings'

    • Click on the relevant booking

    • Look for 'Paid', and click the exclamation mark (!) icon to view the full payment details

    • You will see the discount applied here

  • Booking Confirmation email

    • Open the confirmation email for your booking

    • The discount amount will be clearly shown, indicating how much was applied to your booking

I want to use my Gift Card. Do I follow the same steps as above?

That’s right! Simply enter the Gift Card code in the ‘Promo code’ field and click ‘Apply’. If the Gift Card covers the full booking amount, you won’t need to make any additional payment.
