How can I purchase a gift card?
Pelago Gift Cards are now available for purchase! 🎁 Whether you are treating yourself or surprising a loved one with the gift of travel, getting started is easy.

Step 1: Set Up Your Gift Card
The process starts the same way regardless of who the card is for:
Select a delivery date: This date also serves as the activation date for the card. If you want to use or send the card immediately, simply select today's date.
Choose the recipient: Decide if you are purchasing the card for yourself or gifting it to someone else
Select the currency: Choose the currency based on where the recipient is likely to transact
Set the value & quantity: Select the amount you wish to load onto the card and the number of cards you’d like to buy
Proceed: Click "Book Now" to move to checkout
Step 2: Complete the Checkout
Depending on who the gift card is for, the checkout details will vary slightly
Purchasing for Yourself: If you are treating yourself, you will simply need to fill in your own contact details at checkout
Purchasing for Someone Else: If you are sending this as a gift, you will see an additional form for Booking Details:
Recipient Details: Enter the recipient's name and email address
Personalise it: You can select a specific card design, add your name as the sender, and include a personal message to make it special
Important: Whether it’s for you or someone else, please ensure the email address is correct. The gift card code will be automatically credited to the Pelago account associated with that address.
Can't find the exact Gift Card value you want?
If the specific amount you wish to gift isn't listed as a standard option, don't worry! You can easily combine different denominations to reach your desired total.
How to combine Gift Cards: Simply add multiple gift cards to your cart that add up to the total value you want to gift.
Here is an example: Let's say you want to gift SGD 350, but that exact option isn't available.
1) Select a Gift Card for SGD 250 and add it to your cart
2) Select a second Gift Card for SGD 100 and add it to your cart
3) Checkout ensuring you fill in the same recipient details for both items
What will the recipient receive? The recipient will receive two separate emails, each with a unique Gift Card code (one for SGD 250 and one for SGD 100). The good news is that they can apply both codes to their Pelago account to enjoy the full SGD 350 value on their bookings!

Using Gift Cards
How do I use my Pelago Gift Card?
Refer to the steps below for guidance:
Step 1: Choose Your Activity
Visit the Pelago website at pelago.co and select an activity of your choice.
Step 2: Select Date and Participants
Select your activity date and number of participants, then click Checkout.
Step 3: Enter Booking Details
Enter your booking details at the checkout page.
Step 4: Select Promo Code
Select Promo Code on the checkout page.
Step 5: Apply Gift Card
Enter your gift card code and click Apply. Check the right side of the page to confirm that the gift card amount has been deducted. Note that only one gift card can be used per booking.

Step 6: Proceed to Payment
Click Continue to Payment to finalise your booking.
If additional payment is required, you can select your preferred payment method (card or miles) to pay the balance. For a guide on how to redeem your miles, refer to 'How do I redeem KrisFlyer miles to make a booking?'
How does the Pelago Gift Card work?
The amount redeemed from a gift card cannot be chosen. The system automatically applies the full available balance.
The way a gift card can be redeemed depends on its type:
Affiliate partner gift cards (e.g. HeyMax)
The full value of the Gift Card will be applied in a single transaction
Any unused balance will be forfeited
Pelago or ShopBack AU gift cards
The available gift card balance will be applied first, and any remaining amount can be used across other multiple transactions until fully redeemed
Any unused amount will remain on the card until the expiry date.
If a transaction exceeds the remaining gift card balance, the difference can be paid using other available payment methods.
Can I apply a promotion on top of redeeming my gift card?
You will only be able to apply the gift card for your booking. You cannot use a promo code in conjunction with the gift card
Are gift cards applicable to all products on Pelago?
Selected activities may not be eligible for gift card use. Please refer to the Product Exclusions for a list of these activities.
Gift Card Details
How do I check the details of my gift card?
Gift card details, including balance and expiry date, can be viewed in two places:
In your Rewards:
Go to your Pelago Account and click on ‘Rewards'
A list of your rewards will appear, showing the details of each reward, including the expiry date and available balance
At checkout when applying the gift card:
Click on ‘Promo code’ at checkout
The list of promo codes will show, including the expiry date of your gift card
Can I top up my gift card?
Gift cards only contain the fixed stored value. If all credits in the gift card have been used and additional payment is required, you can pay the remaining amount using your preferred payment method, either a card or KrisFlyer miles.
Troubleshooting Common Gift Card Issues
I'm unable to locate/apply my Gift Card at checkout.
Some activities may not be eligible for gift card use. You can find the full list of these under our Product Exclusions.

My gift card has expired. Can I extend its validity?
The validity of the gift card cannot be extended once it has expired.
What happens to my gift card if I cancel my booking?
If you cancel a refundable booking, the gift card code will be returned to your "Promo Code" Wallet.
