Complimentary eSIM for Singapore Airlines Group / KrisFlyer Members
Pelago offers a complimentary global eSIM in collaboration with the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group for eligible KrisFlyer members with an upcoming Singapore Airlines or Scoot flight.
Please note that the Complimentary SIA eSIM is not automatically added to your account. You must first complete the redemption process. Only after successful redemption will a confirmation voucher with a QR code be sent to you, which iyou can use to install and activate the eSIM on your device.
This guide applies only to the SIA Complimentary eSIM and explains how to redeem and activate your complimentary eSIM.

Step-by-Step: How to Redeem Your Complimentary eSIM
Complete this step first before proceeding to install and activate your complimentary eSIM.
Book your flight on singaporeair.com or flyscoot.com
Ensure that your KrisFlyer account is linked to your flight PNR
Log in to Pelago with your KrisFlyer account
Click on [this] link to visit the Complimentary eSIM page
Select the "Singapore Airlines Exclusive: 2GB for 3 Days" option
At checkout, apply the required promo code at checkout
Complete your booking
Receive your confirmation voucher in your booking e-mail
📝 Important: Redemptions for the SIA complimentary eSIMs are limited, so be sure to claim and redeem your promo code and use it before it runs out!
Step-by-Step: How to Install and Activate Your Complimentary eSIM
Note: This activation guide applies only to the SIA Complimentary eSIM. Do not use this guide for Pelago eSIMs or other eSIMs purchased on Pelago.
Before You Start
We recommend installing and activating your Global eSIM only when you are at your destination country and connected to a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection.
This is because your plan will automatically start the first time your device connects to a supported network in a covered country. In some cases, this may happen even during installation, which could cause the plan to start earlier than intended.
If you selected "For myself" during booking checkout:
Download the Pelago app on your device
Log in to the Pelago app using your KrisFlyer account
On the home screen of your Pelago App, locate your Global eSIM and tap “Install eSIM”
Allow your phone's system to complete the installation
Return to the Pelago app. You’ll see a confirmation that your eSIM has been successfully installed.
If you selected "For someone else" during booking checkout:
Locate the eSIM QR code in your booking confirmation email
Scan the QR code on the intended device
Or tap the activation link (iOS 17.4 and newer)
After installation
Tap “Activate” in the Pelago app
Go to your phone Settings → Connection → Mobile Data / Cellular and ensure that:
The eSIM plan is switched ON
Data roaming is switched ON
