Part 2: Onboard Account
In Part 2 of Online Check-In, you are required to enter your credit card details to cover any charges you may incur during your cruise.
Ways to Add a Payment Method
Credit or Debit Card
Accepted Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Disney Visa Credit Card, American Express, Discover, Diners Club International, Japanese Credit Bureau, China UnionPay (16-digit international card)
Charges: Automatically charged at the end of the sailing or when your balance reaches $300 USD
Non-US cards may incur foreign transaction fees and are subject to currency conversion rate. Please notify your bank before traveling.
Cash
Currency: All onboard prices are in USD and rounded up to the nearest dollar. While you can exchange SGD onboard, it’s best to exchange for USD before your cruise
Deposits: You can start a cash account by leaving a cash or personal check deposit on embarkation day. Any unused deposit will be refunded at Guest Services at the end of your cruise
Other Charges paid by another Guest
Eligibility: This can only be selected if a Guest on the same reservation has already completed their Onboard Account information.
Automatic Selection: This is automatically selected if a Guest on a linked reservation has already accepted financial responsibility for you.
Key to the World Card
Once you have selected and registered your payment details, each passenger will receive a Key to the World Card in an envelope at their stateroom door upon arrival
This card is used for most onboard purchases
Payment Coverage & Authorisation
Choose which passengers you will pay for
Passengers under 18 are automatically included under the primary adult’s responsibility
Check the authorisation statement to save and complete this section
Part 3: Traveling with Children
Part 3 of Online Check-In is required if your travel party includes passengers under 18. It covers legal authorisations, debarkation permissions, and preliminary registration for youth activities.
Traveling with a Minor (Not Your Child/Ward)
If your travel party includes a minor for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian, you are required to:
Complete the Authorisation for Minor to Travel Without Parent/Legal Guardian Form if a minor is not your child
The parent or legal guardian must sign the form and the authorized adult must bring it to the port terminal.
Child Debarkation Permissions
Onboard security prohibits children under 18 from leaving the ship unless accompanied by an adult from the same stateroom. Parents or guardians can modify these permissions during check-in:
Debark Together: The child may only leave the ship with adults staying in the same stateroom.
Debark with Another Adult: Select authorised adults from your reservation
Debark Alone:
Parents may authorise a child to go ashore unaccompanied
Children going ashore alone require their Key to the World card and their original government-issued photo ID
Youth Club Registration
This step helps the ship's counsellors prepare for your children’s arrival. Completing this section pre-fills information but does not finalise registration for the youth clubs.
Information about Child: Provide details such as nicknames, allergies, and medical needs.
Self-check Privileges:
Available only for children 8 years and older.
Determines if a child is allowed to check themselves in and out of the youth clubs independently.
Emergency Protocol: In the event of a ship-wide emergency, all children (including those with self-check privileges) must be picked up from the youth clubs by an authorised member of their travel party.
Part 4: Travel Plans
In Part 4 of Online Check-In, you are required to provide your arrival and departure details to ensure the ship’s manifest is accurate and to coordinate ground transportation where applicable
Updating Flight Information
You are required to enter details for their journey to and from the cruise.
Flight Segments: You must enter details for each individual segment of your inbound and outbound trips.
Required Data: This includes the Airline, Flight Number, Departure City, Departure Date/Time, and Arrival City/Time.
Flexible Options: You can specify if you are flying in:
Before the cruise only
After the cruise only
Both ways
Not flying at all
Post-Cruise Destination
After the voyage, you must indicate where you are heading upon leaving the port terminal. Options include:

Guests must select how they will be arriving at and departing from the port terminal. Options include:
Car Parked at ship Terminal
Disney Transfer
Private Transfers

Part 5: Port Arrival Time
Part 5 of Online Check-In requires you to select a specific window to arrive at the cruise terminal. This is a critical step for managing terminal capacity and ensuring a smooth boarding process.
Selecting Your Port Arrival Time (PAT)
Availability: PAT options are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Time Slots: Windows typically range from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM in 15-minute intervals.
Exemptions: The following Guests do not need to select a PAT and may arrive anytime during terminal operating hours:
Guests booked on Disney Cruise Line Transfers (PAT options will not even appear for these Guests).
Concierge and VIP
Important Arrival Guidelines
Adhering to your selected time is mandatory for a stress-free embarkation:
Strict Arrival Window:
Guests must arrive only at their selected PAT
Early arrivals will be turned away due to limited terminal space
No seating is available at the terminal (except for Concierge Guests)
Luggage Protocol:
Guests cannot drop off luggage prior to their PAT
There is no early luggage drop-off; Guests must stay with their bags during the drop-off and check-in process
Luggage cannot be left and returned to later
If Online Check-In is Not Completed
If you fail to complete the Online Check-In process or do not select a PAT, a default rule applies:
Arrival Requirement: You should arrive exactly 90 minutes before the "All Aboard" (Guest Aboard) time listed in your confirmation email.
Example: If the All Aboard time is 16:00, the Guest should arrive by 14:30 to allow sufficient time for manual check-in.
Part 6: Cruise Contract
The final step of the Online Check-In process is the legal validation of your travel agreement. This must be completed by an adult in the travel party.
Review and Agreement
Legal E-Signature: Checking the designated box is considered a legal e-signature for the entire travel party.
Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to agree to the Cruise Contract.
Documentation: Guests have the option to Print or Email a copy of the contract for their personal records.
Completing the Process
Once the contract is accepted, select the "Complete Check-In!" button to finalise your registration
After submission, your status for all parts will be updated.
Remember that security documents (from Part 1) will remain in a "Pending" status until manually reviewed by Disney Cruise Line staff
