I am unable to book via KrisFlyer miles as I only have a last name

If you’re trying to redeem your KrisFlyer miles on Pelago but can’t proceed, you might see an error like:

  • “Please check that the first and last name on the booking page matches that of the KrisFlyer member.”

This usually happens if your KrisFlyer account only has one name (typically your last name) registered.

How to Fix It

To continue with your booking:

  1. Enter the same name in both the First Name and Last Name fields on the Pelago booking page.

  2. Make the name that is repeated in both the First Name and Last Name fields exactly matches the name registered in your KrisFlyer account.

Example:

KrisFlyer Account:

  • Title and last/family name: John Doe

  • First / Given Name: -empty-

What to enter on Pelago booking form:

  • First Name: John Doe

  • Last Name: John Doe

This allows the system to match your KrisFlyer details and complete the redemption.
