• If you already have a Pelago eSIM, you do not need to install another eSIM.
• Install your Pelago eSIM through the Pelago app and follow the on-screen instructions.
• Installing the eSIM does not start your plan validity.
• Once installed, do not delete the Pelago eSIM from your device.
• Keep the Pelago eSIM switched off until you arrive at your destination.

1. Turn on your Pelago eSIM.
2. Select the Pelago eSIM as your mobile data line.
3. Enable Data Roaming for the Pelago eSIM.
4. Allow your device a few moments to connect to a supported local network.
5. Try sending a message using an instant messaging app, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or WeChat, to confirm that your internet connection is working.

Your plan validity begins when the Pelago eSIM first successfully connects to a supported network at your destination. To avoid unexpected roaming charges from your primary SIM, consider switching off Data Roaming for your primary line.

Check that:

• the Pelago eSIM is switched on;
• the Pelago eSIM is selected for mobile data;
• Data Roaming is enabled for the Pelago eSIM; and
• your device has connected to a supported local network.
