How can I change the activity date or time of my booking?

Updated over 3 months ago

We understand that plans may change. Whether a change is needed to your confirmation voucher depends on your voucher type, and any changes are subject to the provider’s policies. Here’s how you can check and what to do next.

Understand your voucher type

There are two types of vouchers, and knowing which one you have will determine if a change is needed: open-dated or fixed-dated.

Open-Dated Vouchers

  1. What this means: Vouchers can be redeemed on any day within the voucher’s validity period and the provider’s operating hours.

  2. Examples of validity periods

    1. “Valid for 1 month from the date of selection”

    2. “Valid for 60 days from purchase”

    3. “Valid from 1 January to 1 June 2024”

    4. “Valid until 31 December 2024”

  3. Important Note: Some attractions may require an extra reservation.

    1. This will be indicated in the confirmation voucher, or the product page

    2. In the event that you have already pre-booked a timeslot, changes may be subject to the Provider

Fixed-Dated Vouchers

  1. What this means: Vouchers are valid only on the exact date selected at booking, and any changes are only possible if allowed under the provider’s amendment policy.

  2. Examples of fixed-dated vouchers:

    1. “Valid on 1 June 2024”

    2. “Valid on the date of selection only”

    3. Voucher shows a “Visit Date/Time” based on your booking request

Examples of validity dates on vouchers

  • Open-Dated Vouchers:

    • Tickets can be used between the specified dates: “Valid between [date] to [date]”

    • Voucher shows a ticket expiry date, indicating it can be used any day until that date (open-dated)

  • Fixed-Dated Vouchers

    • Voucher shows a “Visit Date/Time” based on your booking request

    • Voucher shows only one valid date: “Valid on [date]"

Check if a change is needed

  1. Compare your voucher details with your planned activity:

    1. Confirm the voucher type (open-dated or fixed-dated)

    2. Check the date on your voucher against your intended activity date

      1. Open-Dated Voucher: If your planned date is within the valid period, you usually don’t need to make a change.

      2. Fixed-Dated Voucher: If your planned date differs from the voucher date, a change may be required.

Other types of changes

  • Change of Number of Participants

    1. Adding participants: A new booking may be needed, subject to provider review and availability.

    2. Removing participants: Subject to the provider’s cancellation policy; partial refunds may be possible if stated.

  • Change of Option Selected

Subject to the cancellation policy of the booking

  • Change of Participant Name

    1. For activities requiring exact name matches (e.g., cruises, ferry tickets), changes are subject to review and may incur a fee. Contact Customer Support for assistance.

    2. Otherwise, the name on the voucher is for reference and can be used by anyone in the party.
